Chonburi is located on the Eastern Coast of Thailand
and probably the nearest beach destination from
Bangkok. Chonburi has come up as a major weekend
retreat for the city people living in Bangkok
or nearby areas. Chonburi offers picturesque beaches,

into ten amphoes or districts, namely, Muang Chonburi,
Nong Yai, Phanat Nikhom, Ban Bung, Phan Thong,

Si Racha
At a distance of about 105 km from Bangkok towards
the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, is situated
Si Racha in Chonburi. The place is the home of
famous spicy sauce Naam Phrik Sii Raachaa, used
by ever Thailand household to prepare their food.
It is also renowned for one of the best place
to have the seafood and in particular the local
oysters that are served with the Naam Phrik Sii
Raachaa Sauce. In Si Racha, you may visit Ko Loi
and Si Racha Tiger Farm. Ko Loi is a small island
famous for Thai-Chinese Buddhist Temple that can
be approached from the mainland by a long pier.
Si Racha Tiger Farm is almost 9 km from the town.
Said to be the largest tiger farm in the world
with world famous tiger breeding facility, you
may witness the Crocodile farm, Herbivores Zoo,
Scorpion Farm and Animal Performances.
Ko Si Chang
Ko Si Chang is the only town on a small island
in Chonburi province that faces the mainland.
The rest of the island is practically deserted
with a small population of fisher folk, retired
and working mariners' and government employees
who are stationed with the customs office or with
one of the aquaculture projects on the island.
At Ko Si Chang, you may have a look at Yai Phrik
Vipasana Center, Hat Tham, Wat Atsadangnimit,
Tham Saowapha, San Jao and Phaw Khao Yai.
Pattaya
Pattaya known as the 'Jewel of the East' was
once a small fishing hamlet in Chonburi province
that has developed into one of the most popular
beaches of the world. Pattaya has lot of natural
beauty to offers to the tourist. Pattaya is ideal
for water sports like Swimming, Beach Volley Ball,
Para Sailing, Para Gliding, Water Scooters, Motor
Boats, Snorkeling and Scuba Diving. Besides the
